Abstract: A proposal that the Arboricultural Research and Education Academy of the International Shade Tree Conference establish an information clearinghouse for research in arboriculture. With a central office to serve as resource center, appropriately staffed, much greater benefit can be achieved from past, present and future expenditures for research.
